Colourful crafts with the family

Crafts with and for children: 3D puzzles are the new fun activity for the whole family!

Whether aeroplanes, insects or buildings – 3D puzzles are great toys made of FSC-certified wood. And the best thing is: They can easily be painted with the mara craft paints for children from 3 years. From bright and colourful to subtle – little hands will be able to create any design idea.

So Hanna and Nick are eager to build the great helicopter and soon have brushes and paints at the ready. Together with their dad they paint and assemble a pretty aircraft. This will now take pride of place in Nick’s room. When Nick grows up, he wants to be a pilot. In his imagination, he is already circling over Hawaii. 😉

Dad has to help with the assembly of the helicopter. He follows the instructions to push the 32 wooden parts together – without glue, nails or a hammer. Great, right?

Instructions:

  • Squeeze the craft paint from the containers onto a mixing palette. Keep a brush, kitchen roll and a cup of water ready. Cover the table to protect it from the paint.
  • Press the individual parts of the 3D puzzle from the wooden board. Use the brush to apply a rich, even layer to the wooden parts. Allow everything to dry.
  • Assemble the helicopter according to the instructions. Now paint the matching design lines with a thin brush.
