Best friends forever

Nick and Hanna not only go to the same school, they have known each other since they were little. It is not surprising then that they regularly meet to play and do crafts.

They love messing around with paint. A little dot here, a little dot there. Whether blue, yellow or green – they prefer things really colourful. They are little artists who create great works of art. 😉

They particularly like painting wooden toys. Of course Nick and Hanna’s parents ensure that these are made of FSC-certified wood. That is a global quality seal to indicate that only wood from well-managed forests or environmentally appropriate forest management is used. This teaches the children early on to be kind to their environment.

But the parents also want quality and harmless ingredients for the craft paints. mara craft paint is water-based and can be used by children from 3 years onwards without problems. It contains no solvents or similar substances.

Find out what Hanna and Nick designed during their most recent craft afternoon… Enjoy getting creative!

  • Place the craft paint from the containers onto a mixing palette. Keep a brush, kitchen roll and a cup of water ready. Cover the table to protect it from the paint.
  • Use the brush to apply the paint to the wooden toy in a rich, even layer. Wash the brush in the water and leave to dry on the paper. Then choose a new brush, e.g. with a finer tip for thinner patterns and lines, and continue painting.
  • Leave the toy to dry – finished!
