Sparkling key rings

Hanna just loves crafts. Being creative with colour brings her great joy. She works with concentration and skill.

This time, she wants to make little gifts for her friends at nursery school and school. Key chains. One for each friend, of course. And each one has to be different, naturally. Good that mara offers five different key rings: Cat, Butterfly, Teddy, Flower and Heart.

She uses the harmless mara craft paint to paint the wooden items. The paint is water-based and easy to apply with a brush. And for the final effect: a little mara Glitter Magic. For Hanna’s friends love anything that sparkles and glitters.

Look here to see how pretty the key rings turned out… And Hanna’s friends were really excited about Hanna’s glittering gifts. 😉

  • Squeeze the mara craft paint from the containers onto a mixing palette. Keep the brush set, kitchen roll and a cup of water ready. Cover the table to protect it from the paint.
  • Pick up the paint with the brush and start painting until a rich, even layer of paint has been applied. If required, paint the reverse side as well after drying. Hang the items up to dry using a wooden skewer and two kitchen rolls. Brushes and hands can be cleaned with soap and water.
  • Embellish with mara Glitter Magic after drying. This creates lovely glitter effects in no time at all.
